Eric entered the automotive field after high school and spent years working in tire service, vehicle maintenance, shop management, fleet maintenance, and commercial roadside operations. After an unexpected layoff shortly before the birth of his second child, the side business he had already started became his full-time livelihood. Today, he brings nearly two decades of experience across several areas of automotive work to 5219 Tire & Auto.
The mobile side of the business grew naturally from Eric’s background in roadside service and fleet operations. He and his team can travel to homes, workplaces, and commercial job sites to handle tire installation and repair, batteries, brakes, flat tires, and other needs that can be addressed safely on location. For someone working from home, that may mean having a vehicle repaired without leaving the house. For a business, it can allow an employee to keep working while a fleet vehicle is serviced on-site instead of spending part of the day waiting at a dealership or repair shop.
Eric understands that most people do not look forward to spending money on a vehicle, and many are unsure what a repair actually requires. A problem with a car or work vehicle can affect someone’s job, family responsibilities, schedule, and budget. He takes time to explain what he finds, answer questions, and help customers understand their options without making them feel pressured.
