Gift Septic Service

Gift Septic Service is a family-run business owned by Art Gift and his wife Jari, built on a foundation that goes back to 1968 when Art’s father, Dick, first started the work. Art grew up around it, spending time on job sites from a young age and learning the trade alongside his dad. In 1980, he officially took over and has been leading the business ever since, carrying forward what was started while building on it over the years.

What began primarily as septic work has expanded into a full range of residential services, including excavation, septic installation, and septic pumping. Even with that growth, Art has stayed focused on doing the core work well and continuing to improve it, valuing doing things right over simply doing more.

The business remains deeply rooted in family. Jari has been there alongside Art through the long days and late nights, supporting both the business and everything that comes with it. Their daughter Carlie is now involved as well, helping carry forward the same level of care and attention that has defined the business for decades. That same approach extends to their team, where many have stayed on for years, including Russ, who serves as job superintendent and helps guide the day-to-day work on site.

For customers, that shows up in a clear and dependable experience. Communication is straightforward, expectations are followed through on, and crews show up when they say they will. Jobs are handled with care, leaving properties in good condition and customers feeling comfortable with the process. People are not treated like numbers. Some customers have been with the business for decades, dating back to when Art first took over, and much of their growth has come through word of mouth. Around town, their distinctive wrapped trucks have also become a familiar sight, adding to the steady presence they have built through their work.
