Kelly Maki built Maki Insurance Group around a belief that clients benefit from having access to a range of insurance options rather than being limited to a single carrier. After years of experience in customer service and the insurance industry, she saw the value of giving customers more choices and clearer guidance when making important coverage decisions.

Kelly began her insurance career with Chicago Motor Club, AAA, selling property and casualty and life insurance before expanding her experience with Sentry Mutual Insurance Company. Over time, she came to believe that serving clients well required a broader range of options and a more personalized approach. That belief ultimately led her to establish Maki Insurance Group, creating an independent agency focused on helping people explore their options and understand their coverage.

That perspective continues to shape how the agency operates today. Rather than focusing only on policies, Kelly and her team spend time helping people work through questions, understand coverage, and navigate decisions that can often feel complicated. Clear communication remains central to the experience.
