Outdoor work and heavy equipment have been part of Matthew Piotrowski’s life since childhood. His father worked in excavating and snow removal, and Matt remembers riding along in the truck, operating the plow controls, and watching him run excavators and dozers. Those experiences stayed with him and helped shape the kind of work he wanted to pursue.

Matt began his career as a mechanic while plowing snow on the side. Starting with a few driveways and smaller commercial accounts, he gradually built the work until he realized he was earning more from snow removal than from his full-time job. Seeing that he had created a real opportunity for himself, Matt decided to leave his job and build a business of his own.

What began with snow removal grew into MP Lawn Care LLC, which provides lawn care, full property maintenance, snow and ice management, light landscaping, material delivery, and smaller excavating projects. It is a family-run business, with Matt’s wife, Danika, helping with bookkeeping, billing, and other administrative work.

Matt is quick to credit his team members, who handle much of the day-to-day fieldwork. He describes them as a strong, dependable group and says the business would not be able to do what it does without their work.

MP Lawn Care primarily handles commercial lawn care and snow removal while also serving residential customers. Matt values strong working relationships, including one that dates back to when he was 21. When someone calls MP Lawn Care, they reach Matt directly. Customers consistently appreciate his prompt responses, professional approach, and accessibility.

The range of services allows the crew to handle several practical needs around a property. Most mechanical work on the fleet is completed in-house, and he is particular about keeping the mowers, trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment clean and properly maintained.
