Aesthetics was not where Brittany Holding, MSN, SCRN, FNP-BC, originally expected nursing to take her. She began as a registered nurse and later became a nurse practitioner, but her direction changed after experiencing an aesthetic treatment herself. It introduced her to a side of medicine she had not fully understood before, and after taking her first course, she knew she had found work she wanted to pursue seriously.

Breaking into the field was not easy. Without prior experience, Brittany struggled to find someone willing to hire her, so she kept learning. She pursued extensive training around the country, continued her education, and eventually opened New You Aesthetics. That experience also shaped the kind of owner she wanted to become. Remembering how difficult it was to get that first opportunity, she has made a point of giving newer injectors who share her passion a chance to learn and grow.
