Romano’s Pizza carries the kind of quiet comfort you only find in places that have been part of a community for a very long time. Established in 1948 and still family owned, it has grown up alongside the Region, becoming one of those familiar landmarks that people return to again and again. When you step inside, the atmosphere feels relaxed and steady, shaped by years of experience and a family that has always taken pride in the work they do.

Much of what makes Romano’s special comes from its roots. The Romano family has been serving traditional Italian food since the days long before the current storefront, and that sense of heritage is still present today. You notice it in the care that goes into each order and in the way customers talk about their favorite meals. The pizza has a classic, comforting style that feels true to its long history, and the hoagies have become a signature item for many people who grew up enjoying them and still seek them out.

Romano’s attracts first timers and lifelong regulars, and while everyone’s experience is their own, a common thread shows up in the stories people share. They appreciate the consistency, the welcoming nature of the staff, and the feeling that things are done with intention rather than hurry. The dining space has a straightforward, neighborhood feel where families and friends stop in for an easy meal or pick up something to take home.

Romano’s continues to offer a sense of familiarity that feels grounding. It stands as a reminder of how meaningful a long standing local spot can be and how much care goes into keeping a community tradition alive.

I’ve only ordered take out but this place is really good! The pizza is on point and has a nice crispy crust with plenty of toppings when i order. The Ham Sandwich is awesome! The steak sandwich was delicious too. I’ve never had bad food from here and the service is always courteous and quick. It’s a gem of a place!
